Saturday Movie Matinee – The Little Princess
Come dressed as a Prince or Princess for an afternoon of classic film as San Juan College (SJC) shows the Cinematheque Series movies, The Little Princess, on Saturday, June 20, from 2- 4 p.m. in the Connie Gotsch Theatre.
Directed by Walter Lang, The Little Princess (1939) is a classic Technicolor musical drama starring Shirley Temple as Sara Crewe, a young girl who bravely searches for her father, reported dead in the Boer War. Forced into servitude at a boarding school, her optimism prevails in this cherished film. The film is rated G (General Audiences), and it offers a touching, optimistic story of resilience and kindness, making it a perfect, wholesome family-friendly film.
