French President Calls Emergency Meeting After Worst Unrest In A Decade

French President Emmanuel Macron is looking for solutions as his country deals with the worst unrest in a decade.  Macron called an emergency meeting of his senior officials after another round of Yellow Jacket protests turned violent for the third straight weekend.  Thousands of masked protesters got into altercations with police on Saturday.  The protests began as a cry against increased fuel taxes and other economic issues.  There was looting, cars set on fire, and banks and homes burned.
