It looks like Golden State Warrior star Steph Curry isn't the only person in his family who has a knack for draining long shots when it matters the most. Basketball runs deeply in the Curry family. Steph's mom, Sonya played in high school and married former NBA player Dell Curry. Both their sons, Seth and Steph, are both currently in the NBA.
Sonya and Dell were taking on their kids in a shooting contest when she launched an underhanded shot from half-court as time expired. When the game-winning shot hit the backboard and fell through the net everybody inside the newly-renovated gym erupted into a raucous celebration.
"I was trash talking with the kids, and I said, 'Me and your pops, we are going to take this thing from you.' And they were like, 'Whatever, whatever,''' Sonya said after helping her team win.
Seth, who is currently playing for the Portland Trailblazers said it was a "lucky" shot, but was impressed that his mother "knocked it down on the big stage."
