DEL MAR (Race Three)
(1) CYNTHIANA already has a win over this turf course and hasn't run badly in her two starts here this summer. Look for more forwardly placed tactics under jockey Kent Desormeaux and a ground-saving trip from her inside post. There doesn't appear to be a lot of speed in the race, so I'm hopeful she'll be positioned close to the lead down the backstretch.
(7) SPIN ME A KISS comes off a sharp win here over state-bred allowance company in her most recent start and comes from a sharp outfit. No worse than second in each of her last four starts, she is clearly the one to beat.
(2) JOE'SGOLDENHOLIDAY just missed last time out coming back from a long layoff and running up the rail in a 5-furlong sprint. She broke her maiden three back in a turf route at Santa Anita and should be fresh off the comeback effort.
