A Harvard football player was included in the incident that led to Lily Stewart, the University of Georgia sorority girl who's stunning mugshot recently went viral, being arrested for the second time in weeks, TMZ Sports reports.
Junior tight end Seamus Gilmartin, 20, of Hillsborough, California, was charged with underage possession of alcohol, loitering/prowling and possession of a fraudulent identification, as well as banned from the University of Georgia campus for two years. Gilmartin and Stewart were both present during an incident that set off the intrusion alarm at the UGA student center.
The group was rounded up by police at around 3:00 a.m. ET on Sunday (March 23) after attempting to flee the scene when officers approached the building.
Gilmartin appeared in 10 games for Harvard in 2024, recording 18 receptions for 379 yards and four touchdowns, which included a season-best four catches in the Crimson's November 2 win against Dartmouth, a season-best 101 receiving yards during an October 26 blowout win against Princeton and a multi-touchdown game in an October 11 win against Cornell.
Stewart, 20, a member of Alpha Chi Omega's UGA chapter, who was previously arrested for excessive speeding earlier this month, was charged with obstruction of a law enforcement officer and loitering/prowling, FOX News reports. The UGA student reportedly posted a $4,600 bond shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday (March 23).
Stewart went viral for her mugshot showed her smiling ear to ear after it was included in the Georgia Gazette's initial report on her arrest and later re-shared by GAFollowers.
Stewart's mugshot went viral after being shared on several social media accounts, including @mugshawtys, an account dedicated to sharing posts of attractive female mugshots.
"She was riding straight to my heart, officer," one Instagram user commented.
"2 fast 2 gorgeous," another commented.
“Whatever she did my heart says she’s innocent,” one Facebook user commented.
“How much is her bail? I’ll pay it,” an X user wrote.
Stewart, who faced a $1,000 fine for the initial incident, acknowledged her sudden popularity sharing, "some of my favorite/unhinged comments on my mugshot" in a video shared on her TikTok account, which included the song 'Vroom Vroom' by Charli xcx last week.
