Arkansas Razorbacks Men’s Head Basketball Coach John Calipari joins Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show to talk about earning a spot in the Sweet Sixteen. He says he is leaning into their role as an underdog this season. He says he didn’t give a single thought about facing off against his old rival Rick Pitino and was only focused on his team. He says he isn’t looking at the transfer portal yet and he still works hard to recruit Freshman.
John Calipari: “When you’re playing games, you’re not worried about the other coach, you’re about survival. I wasn’t worried about matching with no chess game...I didn’t care. It was about; let’s just win!”
