The Duke Blue Devils have long been one of the teams America loves to root against, but it seemed like HC Jon Scheyer and freshman phenom Cooper Flagg had turned some opinions around, that is until they choked away a huge lead on Saturday and were eliminated by Houston. Their short-lived popularity looks to be over now that they won't be winning a championship this season and Flagg is on his way to the NBA.
Doug Gottlieb: "Between Zion (Williamson) then to Cooper Flagg, Duke had become likable until they lose in a fashion in which they lose...The hatred towards Duke, it's like, 'Remember when we hated Duke?'
